Tony Swatton forging the blade for Madame Isis



Designed and made by Hollywood armour er, Tony Swat ton of Sword and Stone - SDCC Booth#4713


The 42" sword is one-of-a-kind and will be auctioned online shortly after the conference in August. It will be on display at the show The Devil's Candy Store booth #1704 and the Sword and Stone booth #4713.

The Isis sword is handmade by Tony Swat ton, a master bladesmith who has created swords for Zorro, Blade, Pirates of the Caribbean and Hellboy.

The blade is forged from stainless steel and has a cruciform
cross-section based on L. A. Banks' description from her Vampire Huntress series.The hilt is cast in Bronze by the lost wax process and gold plated around various gemstones that correspond to the body chakras.

A dagger prototype will be on display in our booth #1704 and can be pre-ordered at the show and afterwards online.

Designed by Craig Elliott - SDCC Booth #4812

Craig created this pendant based on the ancient Egyptian Ankh and the symbol for the Neteru placed upon an Egyptian fan. Craig has created art for many major motion pictures like Shrek, Bee Movie, and Treasure Planet.

 

These pieces will be made by R. S. Owens, the Chicago company that makes the Oscar™ statuettes for the Academy Awards. A small number of pieces will be available for sale at our booth #1704 during the show. They will be available online shortly after.
